Yesterday I was in the monthly meeting of the 22@Barcelona project, which was held in the Torre Agbar in Barcelona.

 

These 22@Barcelona meetings are usually on innovation, and this time's main speaker was Gregory McRae, from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He presented innovation as the main mean for a country or a zone to become present in today's world. The key is to empower the R+D in the industry and in the universities, and facilitating the creativity and innovation of the students coming out from university.

 

The meeting also included a brief presentation on the Agbar Group, one of the main catalan companies, and their strategy on research and innovation.

 

The meeting ended with a visit to the top of the Agbar Tower, the last skycraper in Barcelona, where you have a new impressing view of the city.
